Summary:
Design, develop, test, and deploy production application code across our technology stack in accordance with product objectives, technology strategy, and software engineering best practices.
Requirements
Essential Functions: * Understands and utilizes engineering best practices * Reinforces the intended technical and cultural norms * Helps direct the effort of Contributing Engineer and Associate Engineer team members towards success * Provides technical mentoring to Contributing and Associate Engineers * Practices and reinforces agile values * Helps their cross-functional team write robust well-defined stories and deliver high-quality code * Recommends and collaborates on process and practice improvement * Relentlessly advocate for the end user throughout our SDLC * Cultivate interpersonal relationships through superior communication skills. * Participate in on call rotation
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Proficiency with web software technologies * Experience with JavaScript frameworks: React, Angular, etc. * Proficiency with JavaScript, Python, PHP, C#, or GO * Proficiency with unit testing frameworks * Experience with different databases, including relational and non-relational * Experience with git for version control as well as supporting platforms, like Bitbucket or Github * Experience with container deployment automation; familiarity with Kubernetes and its built-in tools is desirable * The ability to iterate on solutions and respond to change effectively * A passion for not only company vision and team goals, but building on our silo-free culture
Minimum Qualifications: * Achieved a bachelor’s degree in science or technology related field, or relevant experience * 5+ years of full-stack software development experience; SaaS experience is a plus * Experience working as a member of a cross functional team practicing Scrum/Agile
